For the first time, researchers at Stanford University in California have used computer software to simulate the entire lifecycle of an organism — all 525 genes of the bacterium Mycoplasma genitalium. Researchers used 128 computers to model an organism that is actually a sexually transmitted parasite.
Wait a second— nerds used computers to fully stimulate a sexual organism?  That’s the exact premise for the Anthony Michael Hall - John Hughes movie Weird Science.  Are my taxpayer dollars going to fund Weird Science science science?  Because if so, consider me delighted, as LeBrockology is the ONLY place I want my taxpayer dollars going. Don’t forget to hook up the doll!
